Project Applications

Deadlines
We determine the times for project applications on the basis of received applications, approved funding, and the annual budget.

Due to the very high number of project applications, we are currently not accepting applications via this page.

We support
- Small organisations registered in Switzerland

- Alignment with one of these UN Sustainable Development Goals: 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 12, 15 / Details: What we support

- Projects that exist over a longer period of time, i.e. performance record and financial statements for at least 2 years

- Organisations with an annual turnover of less than CHF 700’000

- Private individuals, resident in Switzerland, with projects in Switzerland

- Private individuals, resident in Switzerland, with projects abroad: only if we know them personally

- Maximum one application per year and institution / private individual

We do not support
- Large- / medium-sized organisations

- Start-ups / New businesses

- Research / Development

- Culture / Art / Music

- Publications / Books / Films

- Events / Lectures

- Trips / Travel / Tourism

- Debt management / Emergency aid

- Crowdfundings

Funding decisions
Decisions are made on the basis of the Foundation's support criteria and strategic goals. We are a small foundation and the demand for support is usually greater than our annual budget. Consequently, not all projects can be considered, despite meeting the support criteria. Funding decisions are communicated in writing. There is no further correspondence in case of negative decisions.
