The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are political targets set by the United Nations to ensure sustainable development at economic, social, and environmental levels worldwide. They came into force on the 1st of January 2016, with a duration of 15 years (until 2030).
The Yvonne and Peter Imholz Foundation has chosen 7 out of 17 development goals as its foundation purpose and supports projects of smaller organisations and private individuals on the basis of these goals. The globe with the people stands for the 17 goals of the United Nations. The people in colour correspond to the 7 funding goals of our foundation. We support the following seven goals:
End poverty in all its forms everywhere.
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Promote sustainable economic growth and decent work for all.
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
Protect and restore terrestrial ecosystems and promote their sustainable use.
