Who we are

Our foundation was established in July 2021 as an independent non-profit organisation and does not pursue a profit-making purpose. It is tax-exempted, politically and confessionally independent and is controlled by the Swiss Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations in Bern.

The Foundation Board takes decisions regarding the organisation, the management, and the funding strategy. All board members, advisors, and the managing director work on an honorary basis.

Yvonne Imholz

President of the Foundation Board / Managing Director

Yvonne Imholz is a certified export manager and has worked in various positions in internationally active companies. She has been active in the non-profit sector as a foundation board member and managing director since 2009. For nine years, she built up the Foundation Suyana in Switzerland and played a leading role in shaping it.

Together with her husband Peter, she established the Yvonne and Peter Imholz Foundation in July 2021. She is the President of the Foundation Board and, as voluntary Managing Director, responsible for support applications and the entrepreneurial management.

Oliver Hegglin

Member of the Foundation Board

Oliver Hegglin has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Affairs, has served on peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Mali, and has completed internships with the United Nations and diplomatic representations. He is currently employed in the private sector as a geopolitical threat analyst and writes as a research assistant for a think-tank on human security issues. He has been active in the non-profit sector since 2013.

He supports the Foundation as a voluntary member of the Foundation Board and is actively involved in the development of the Foundation's funding activities.

Roland Arnold

Member of the Foundation Board

Roland Arnold is a federally certified fiduciary expert and a licensed audit expert. He has been active in both functions in various companies for several years. At Fidura Treuhand AG in Zug, he has been managing director and a member of the board of directors since 2010, and a partner since 2012. He is also involved in various foundations and associations.

He was actively involved in the establishment of the Yvonne and Peter Imholz Foundation and supports its charitable activities as a voluntary member of the Foundation Board.

Peter Imholz

Advisor

Peter Imholz is an HR specialist with a federal diploma and ran his own recruitment agency for many years. Since 2009, he has been voluntarily involved in the non-profit sector as advisor and employee. In 2012 he joined the board of directors of the microbrewery Stiär Biär in Altdorf and has actively supported it ever since.

He founded the Yvonne and Peter Imholz Foundation together with his wife. He works as an expert and advisor on a voluntary basis and in doing so helps to develop the Foundation's strategic goals.
